Well today is the official release of Apple's new iPhone 4. Many customers that pre ordered the iPhones received them yesterday. This was in an effort for Apple and AT&T to split up the overwhelming flood of people activating there phones. But for those who didn't pre-order there phone or where not able to due to problems on AT&T's end can go to there local Apple store or AT&T carrier to buy one.
As stores open across the nation the lines are long. As with just about every Apple product launch in recent years. There where those who camped out in front of the stores over night. Some even sowed up a few days in advance to ensure there place at the front of the line.
No word yet on available numbers that the stores will have. But there is no doubt that some people will come away disappointed. But this kind of thing happens with all highly anticipated product launches.
